New York Juneteenth 2022 was a weekend to remember! The Weeksville Heritage Center partnered with Black Owned Brooklyn to celebrate the commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Being from Florida, we do not have many celebrations that celebrate Black American Culture. Having the opportunity to celebrate with the local back community was a priceless memory that I look forward to telling my kids about!
